Praying with Gabby

Piper & Gabby

Piper's grandmother, Gabby, has been in town all week helping care for Piper in / out of the hospital. Here is a prayer Piper said at naptime while I was working. 

PIPER: "Gabby, I don't know if I am a good pray-er because I get my words mixed up and I don't think they sound right."

GABBY: "That's okay Piper, you don't have to say everything perfect, God listens and understands everything you say"

PIPER: "I know, because God is everywhere"


"Dear Lord,

Thank you for our prayers. Thank you for Gabby coming to help. I love her because she really loves me. Help my Mommy to have a great day at work. Help her to not be mad. I would never ever be throwing a fit! Help me to respect her because I love her. Help Gabby and me to have a good day.

Amen"
