I have two fun stories to share today.

Yesterday, Piper had another playdate with her bestie, Clairebear. They ran through the sprinkies in their bathing suits, dressed up like movie stars, played house, and enjoyed eachother's company. When I arrived, Clairebear was calling Piper "sister" and "sissy" while they played house....so cute! Then Claire's older brother and his friend chased the girls through the house pretending to be monsters. Piper kept asking me to go upstairs to see Claire's room. On the door, a sign read "no boes aloud, gerlz rule". Claire is going in kindergarten this year.  I was impressed how well she wrote the girls thoughts about the boys pestering them...I love it!

Today, when Piper got home from the doctor (another virus, rash, low heart rate, low pulse ox, asthma problems), she was hungry and couldn't wait for me to finish changing my clothes. She poured herself a drink in the 'Girls Rule' cup and broke off part of a banana and placed it in a cup - then turned Sprouts on the TV, copped a squat, and enjoyed her snack as she watched Calliou. After two weeks of her being sick and wanting me to feed her, it was refreshing to see her be independent.
