Alice in Wonderland

Alice In Wonderland

Want a stay-cation?  Go to The Gaylord Texan.  It's an affordable, one-stop shop with fun for adults and kids alike.  This weekend Piper and I enjoyed Alice in Wonderland, at the Gaylord, with our friends, Clairebear and her mommy.

We walked around taking pictures of the girls with Alice, the Queen, the Mad Hatter, etc.  The girls enjoyed a tea party and magic show with the Mad Hatter (loved the decorations - colorful umbrellas, lights & paper lanterns strung above, stacked teapots, & colorful hats).  We went through a 3D maze then had a wonderful dinner.  And finally, we retired to our room after a fun-filled day.  Piper and Clairebear splashed in the bath then put on their matching bff pj's, jumped on the beds, played hide-in-go-seek, had a tea party with their Alice in Wonderland tea set, and listened as I read Alice in Wonderland.  Bright and early the next morning, they ate breakfast with Alice (a feast fit for a queen).  And finally, the extended playdate was over and the girls were sad to leave eachother.  As we left our room, Piper said "let's hit the road jackson". ha ha - she gets her words a bit confused ;o)

The hotel was full.  The staff was great.  We did hear that on a normal Sat night, the front desk receives two noise complaints on average but last night they received 29, had to evict guests, and some guests were arrested!  It sounds like a crazy night but we slept through it all ;o)

Thank you Aunt Cheryl for providing a lovely memory for Piper, Clairebear, and the mommy's.

Peace and Bunny Ears,
Aimee
